IGCSE Results Ajman Academy
Students at Ajman Academy are celebrating after receiving their long-awaited IGCSE results. This is only the second year of students to sit their IGCSE exams as the school continues to grow with nearly 300 students moving up through to Secondary from Grade 5.
Students obtained a 100% pass rate in ICT, Foreign Languages (Spanish) and English A. Overall 75% of students achieved a grade A* to C in Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Economics and Business Studies, which is a significant increase on the previous year.
Ajman Academy appointed Mr Colin Bibby as Secondary School Principal in Term 2, and he brings with him a wealth of experience.
Mr Colin Bibby said:
We are so pleased that this hard-working cohort of students achieved the excellent results that their conscientious approach deserved. The results reflect a school which fully committed to a journey of strategic school improvement in which the quality of learning and teaching is paramount. I congratulate warmly the students concerned and thank their families for their dedicated support. All at Ajman Academy look forward to seeing these students thrive in their A level studies.
Mr Fiyaz Ahmed, School Director, said:
On behalf of Ajman Academy, I would like to congratulate our students on their very pleasing IGCSE results. I am delighted that their hard work and effort has been rewarded. It also reflects the support they have received from staff and parents throughout their time at Ajman Academy. Achieving these excellent results sets a firm foundation on which our students can build towards future success at A-Level, at university and in their future careers.
