READ MORE »AJAC students come 2nd place at the 2019 Think Science Competition
Imtishal Mughal and Tala Naffa from Grade 9 succeeded in qualifying for this years Think Science Competition that took place across seven Emirates last March. The talented duo, with the less fortunate in mind, designed and built a machine that captures the natural moisture in the air, then filters it via reverse osmosis to produce drinkable water AND at the same time, the device acts as an air conditioner!
The girls showcased their unique prototype, Air-Water-Air Conditioning Repeat in Ajman University for three days competing against many others with years of experience.
Out of 2000 entries, they finished 2nd place!
Their creative and unique design will be showcased at the Sciences International Expo in Abu Dhabi 2019 alongside projects from schools across 68 counties.
